Guest Posting on Tamlyn Amber Wanderlust
I am open to guest posts on my travel blog. However, before contacting me, please familiarise yourself with my Ts and Cs and conditions below:
General Ts and Cs for Paid Posts
- Unless otherwise invited to feature on my blog, I charge a set fee for all guest posts. (For my latest rates, please get in touch with me.)
- Payment must be made within 24 hours of publication. I accept both PayPal and EFT payments. Note: If this is not possible for the client, a mutually suitable date shall be arranged and adhered to. (In these instances, I also require proof of payment.)
- Because I firmly believe in ethical blogging, all ‘paid-for’ posts use strictly no-follow links; no exceptions. If you wish to include do-follow links in paid posts, my platform is not for you.
- All paid guest posts are done in collaboration with Tamlyn Amber Wanderlust. As such, they carry a disclaimer on my blog and social feeds.
- Guest posts are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. I reserve the right to decline any content (either paid or unpaid) without explanation.
Conditions for Guest- and Paid-Posts

-
Prior to publication, I must vet and approve all posts. This process involves recommending small grammatical or language changes, in accordance with my blog’s style and voice. (For example, I only use UK spelling.)
-
All content must be in line with my blog’s travel theme. I only feature travel-related content on my blog. (This includes general travel experiences, eco-friendly travel, restaurants or accommodation posts.)
- While my blog predominantly revolves around my home country, South Africa – I am certainly open to global content. However, it must be in line with my blog’s general content scope and should ultimately be relevant to my readers.
-
Minimum word count for guest posts is 500 words. However, I generally prefer 800-1500 words. (Note: My rates vary depending on word count/post length.)
- All posts should include minimum 3-5 photos, if not more. Photos must be of a high quality and dimensions cannot be smaller than 750 x 500.
- All photos should be credited and (if not owned by you/your company) should be copyright free. If you cannot secure quality, copyright free photos, I will source or provide suitable photos.
